Rigloo Refuge at the roadside

Product Information

The Refuge is designed for use in poorer weather conditions. During very strong winds we recommend that you do not inflate at the top of a motorway verge unless satisfied that it is safely tethered. The Refuge has a single skin Airframe for temporary (although reusable) use only of up to 8 hrs. It is not advised to be left unattended at the roadside and we recommend the tether, pegs, bodyweight of occupier and guy lines be utilised as anchoring, as far as is reasonably practicable.

We recommend a trial run before using any of our shelters for the first time. This will allow you to familiarise yourself with its set up and any limitations it may have for your particular use.
